Trying to conceive? Then better read some of these interesting pregnancy trivia to help you get your own bundle of joy!

- Taking Folic Acid will decrease the chances by fifty to seventy percent (50-70%) of giving birth to a baby with neural tube defect.

- Excessive consumption of coffee and alcohol may affect the fertility.

- Doing the “doggy style” position increases the chance of conceiving a boy while missionary style increases the chance of conceiving a girl.

- Sperm can live for 72 hours or three days inside your uterus and fallopian tubes.

- Too much exercise and dieting can affect ovulation that would later lead to fertility problems.

- Orgasm is not prerequisite in getting pregnant.

- There is such thing as sperm allergy. A sperm allergy can be defined by someone having an allergic reaction to proteins in either their own or their partner’s semen which signals an immune response or allergy. Signs of a sperm allergy include redness, burning, and/or swelling in the area that was in contact with the semen. But don’t worry, estimated around two percent (2%) experience this kind of allergy.
