Feng Shui is the art of being able to place things about your home that will maximize the art of flow. Based on Chinese beliefs this translates literally into water and wind, a life force that is present in all things. If one is to understand the flow of life force it is the placements of things such as garden fountains and wind chimes in your home in such a
way as to bring peace and tranquility.
Garden fountains play an important role because they are considered to be crucial in the art of flow. The wind element in Feng Shui is satisfied with the use of wind chimes. After speaking with an expert in Feng Shui, he taught me the balance wind and water and I applied it to my patio. I am not certain if I am a confirmed believer in this Chinese art, but I will testify that since doing so, my home life is peaceful and void of stress.
